This summer came and went faster then we had hoped. It was a fun packed few months and I feel like I need to document a few pictures of each place we travelled and what we jammed in to a short time. So that I don't bore all of you thousands of readers (aka: mom) I will post the first portion of our summer. Beginning of summer to the signing of a new contract. Let's get started:
Took a trip to Arizona to visit Ryan's family and my sister! Swam and played toothpicks every single day, ate tons of yummy food, saw good friends, played with awesome cousins and tried to stay out of the heat. One highlight of this trip was playing tennis in the mornings. Ryan and Cheri against Mike and me. Folks, I held my own. We won a few sets!! I'm sure Mike never wants me as a team mate again.
Asher LOVES his mimi. She would plop him on the counter with every snack you could think of and let him chomp away.
After Arizona we had a couple of weeks at home to play with cousins, eat shave ice, go on lots of walks, park visits with gammie and Asher rocked a mullet.
The end of June we took the annual Campbell vacation to Jackson Hole. We had to keep traditions alive and try on all sorts of hideous jackets made of all sorts of different animal fur. This trip never disappoints my waistline either. Haagen-Dazs ice cream, amazing donut holes, Mountain High Pizza and even a chuck wagon dinner while being chased by Indians!

Of course, Danielle is the best sister ever and let Asher sleep on her even though it was a million degrees.
After Jackson Hole we took the boat out for a spin which always puts Asher right to sleep AFTER he forgets how mad he is about having to wear his life jacket.

We took a trip to Long Island, NY to visit my sister Kim over the 4th of July! We had to meet the newest edition, Becker! And he didn't disappoint. What a perfect little guy.
Asher wore his superman swimsuit every single day and Benton wore his plumbers crack!
We ate calzones, had water fights, went to the beach, made desserts and we slept in every single day. One day we journeyed into the city to meet up with Ryan's cousin, Taylor. Talk about a food tour!! We went to The Shake Shack, Magnolia's Bakery, a shaved ice place, Chipotle and another bakery on the walk back to the train station. It was absolute perfection. We had a blast in NY and it made me even more determined to find a way to be next door neighbors with Kim and Tyler.
We got back from NY and just when I was thinking life was stress free, it did the exact opposite. Ryan's offers started coming in. You may wonder why that is stressful? Let's see....different countries, different cities, different friends, different homes, different language, different EVERYTHING!! And this year the decision was between heading back to Turkey, going to Ukraine or going to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria in Spain. As you see below....
WE CHOSE SPAIN!!
And so far it's been absolutely perfect. Fantastic weather, AWESOME team mates, Ryan speaks Spanish, beaches all over the place, delicious food and did I mention there are awesome team mates WIVES!! Yes, we got lucky.
